The original one-story house had a curb appeal that we liked right away based the L-shaped footprint and the resulting spacious approach to the house and garage, as well the beautiful triple-trunked palm tree. We added a second story and opened up the main floor to create an open concept living area with extra wide sliding doors to incorporate the exterior with the interior.

Long rectangular windows, skylights and metal beams were used throughout to create dramatic effects based purely on the sun, that subtly change the mood in the house throughout the day. The use of white smooth stucco with black metal openings and rich wood siding contribute to the modern yet warm architecture of this home.
